Project Overview
Open Door Recruit is a mobile application designed to eliminate biases in recruitment and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in hiring processes. The app anonymizes applicant details such as names and demographics during the initial screening, focusing solely on skills and qualifications.
PROJECT PROPOSAL
As the job market expands, an unfortunate trend arises, reports of biased hiring processes from various companies persist. These practices should not exist in 2024 and we aim to address this issue
with our application.
STYLE GUIDE
This design system for Open Door Recruit ensures a clean, user-friendly experience with intuitive icons, the readable "Poppins" font, and a balanced colour palette blending neutrals with vibrant accents. The cohesive style prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and seamless navigation.

FINAL REPORT
​The final design of our app, created in Figma, includes colour blindness simulations for Deuteranomaly, Protanopia, Tritanopia, and Achromatopsia to ensure accessibility. User flows are designed to streamline onboarding, job search, profile management, and employer views, focusing on clear navigation and inclusivity for all users.
